Now I’ve laid it down - onto the important stuff

OK….So you’re probably thinking that my last post was quite important, and you were right, it was. Howevr honestly, that was just to start thing off, we need to actually start talking about some stuff here.

And the first thing I choose to talk about is “The Ladder Theory” - Yes, I know it’s old and has been on the web since the year dot, however, I still feel it’s important to bring up.

OK. a quick breakdown. Essentially it boils down to this. When you meet someone of the opposite sex, you immedaietely place them on your ladder. Basically rate them in order of attractiveness etc which will answer one question “would I sleep with this person” and depending on where on the ladder they are answers that question. It’s all rather complex and certianly worth a read if you’ve not read it already, however I feel I need to add an addendum.

OK. say I meet a woman and she’s a 10. A total knockout. The sort of woman that most men would chew their own arm off to sleep with. The problem I have is that nobody, be they man or woman could possibly be as attractive and importantĀ as i am. And assuming according to the ladder theory that you go for someone of a similar attractiveness etc….What does that mean I’m supposed to do.

Well I have to confess that this perplexed me for many nights as I paced up and down my parlour of solitude (aka the dining room) until I finally came across an answer.

Say as I was saying before I meet a woman and she’s a ten out of ten. Assuming I am a fifteen (and I’m being hard on myself there) I simply add another woman who’s a five.

Of course, the maths are open to debate, a 7 and an 8 would be fine. 2 nines on a good day. But you see where I’m going with this.
